The Seven Sins are a bit of Judeo-Christian culture that often see artistic interpretation throughout the years, be it in the form of comics, paintings, literature or other media. I see with the name Universe, there is a bit of ambition... or wistful thinking in each of these potential subjects, and the visual motif is fantastic. All of them are functionally unique and their expressions are top notch. The backgrounds are great and I like the visual cues. Being that I'm an outsider to your OCs, I feel like there's more depth here based upon the related characters, but don't really have a basis to base it upon. I feel that this matches what you were trying to see with your vision, and that your technique is very very solid, aside from one minor thing- your text is a bit hard to read in certain panels- 3,4 and 7 are the least clear in my view. That said, that's a minor deal.

Here's the downside with what I see here- if we're to base this on the concepts of the Seven sins/sinisters/incarnations, I feel that you met that basic goal. My concern is that it feels like it was lacking in some form of interpretation. Lust, for example, is not merely carnal, nor is it without discerning. The sins also are known to intersect- using Lust, Greed could be applied to your interpretation, as could Gluttony. Also, aside from Greed, who especially -cares- about the whole universe as a unit? Gluttony could look forward to an unending feast, ever expanding as time goes on (as the universe expands)- Lust could seek the greatest/best moment of satisfaction, regardless of consequence. Envy could groan about how they wish -they- had infinite possibility, while Sloth could simply look forward to oblivion. These are just examples, mind you, but that's what I feel could improve this piece- a different spin. I feel that it would make it something that would get several different looks and more contemplation.


That said, I think this is a great piece that really shows off your artistic muscle and top-tier cartooning. I have a good feeling that you'll go far with this sort of thing, so keep at it!
